Pop Piano Lesson For Kids
As a parent, I've seen firsthand how kids have a natural love for music.
Unfortunately, traditional piano lessons often stifle this enthusiasm by focusing on repetitive exercises and unfamiliar songs.
My approach is different. I teach kids to play their favorite tunes while introducing them to the exciting world of improvisation. This makes learning fun and engaging, inspiring a lifelong passion for piano.
Pop Piano Lesson For Adults
Since 2011 i've been teaching pop piano to adults.
There are many reasons why my adult students pick up the piano. It could be a to fulfill a childhood dream, it could be to de-stress, it could be for entertainment or even, in search for an alternative career path.
Whatever it is, i'll do my best to help you achieve your objectives.
Home Studio
Lesson At My Home Studio
To provide my students with the best possible foundation, I've chosen to use an acoustic piano a Bechstein A124 for our lessons.
Acoustic pianos offer a superior tactile experience, allowing students to develop refined technique and touch. Additionally, I've selected a European piano to expose them to the rich, traditional sound that European instruments are renowned for.

Online Lesson
Online Piano Lesson
This is my most popular lesson at the moment. Around 80% of my lessons are conducted online.

To make sure that my online lessons are as effective as in person lesson, I have devoted considerable time and resources to on my online setup. Some of my students have even commented that my online lessons are more productive compared to in-person sessions.

I employ seven different applications and utilize two cameras for my online lessons, demonstrating my commitment by investing a significant amount of money to ensure the effectiveness of my teaching sessions.

FAQ
Am I too old to learn?
Not at all, most of my students are adults, and many of them started as beginners. With the right approach and methods, anyone can learn to play.
Am I permitted to cancel my lessons at the last minute?
I do not forfeit lessons; any lessons that are canceled can be rescheduled or made up with a video lesson.
Why are your rates set at a fixed rate?
My course fees are set at a fixed rate due to the experiences I've had with some of my students being forced to quit due to financial issues. For that reason, I have decided to charge everyone a fair and constant rate.
Are there any additional costs apart from the course fees that I need to cover?
No, all the materials are included. You only need to pay for the lesson fees and nothing else.
Is 45 minutes per lesson enough?
Yes, other than the main lessons which are 45 minutes a week, I am also providing you with video lessons and assistance outside of lesson time.
Why are your rates cheaper than the music schools?
Because you are only paying for my financial survival, that's it. The fees you pay don't need to cover expenses such as paying a landlord or administrative staff. The savings I obtain from these costs allow me to offer a better rate to everyone.
LESSON STRUCTURE
What You Can Expect Every Lesson
1. Scales
There are many scales in music but for pop piano wise, the most commonly used scales are the major and minor. Learning the scales has a few benefits, it helps you to
-
Play By Ear

Improvise Coordination
-
Improve Your Technique
2. Songs
I will give you a new song every single lesson. There are a few types of scores/chord charts that I use to help you become a more versatile pianist.
-
Leadsheet - Melody with Chords. Scores like this are basically guides that helps you to improvise with minimum sight reading.
-
Pre- Arranged scores. Scores like this are meant to be played as written and it’s excellent for sight reading and learning a new genre.
-
Chord charts - Chord charts are great for using it as a guide when you want to play and sing or play by ear.
3. Theory
Theory wise, I will normally teach the traditional music theory and contemporary music theory. Rest assure that I will only teach theories that helps in your development as a pianist. Meaning that I would not spend time on certain theories that exam going students learn that has nothing to do with Piano.
4. Musicianship
There are a few components in this section that I work on to help you improve as a musician.
-
Sight-Reading - This is basically to help you read and play songs more confidently on the spot
-
Transposition - This will allow you to understand chords better and change keys while singing on the spot
-
Chords Fill-In - This will help you figure out chord progression and understand chords better
